Thread: Important question about abandoning an FS quest

Ok. I was one of the first people to get a visit from the old man after the village was implemented. All went well until I got the "goto the Sith camp" part. The sith camp has been bugged since the week the village went live. I have been on my other characters, but now think I might be able to salvage this one.
A CSR came in game with me and tried resetting the WP, etc. Nothing worked, he said he would tell the upper ranks, (yeah right). I logged in now though, and can abandon the sith camp quest. I have also deleted my crystal as I was told by a CSR, but the old man never came back with a new one.
If I abandon this will it permanently screw me, or maybe reset the entire old man process? Thanks for ANY input!

if you delete the crystal, the old man will bring you another one in 3 days

Have you tried going to the WP and killing the sith? or is there nothing there? If nothing is there, then you could try abandoning the quest, and then going and getting 1 more location badge to see if that triggers the whole process again. If that doesn't work then do a /check to see if you still have glowy, contact a CSR and ask them to reset your entire quest journal. If that doesn't work then it will indeed need to be taken care of by the higher ups. but at least you will have tried absolutely everything else first.

you cannot be grouped with another player when you receive the waypoint. you must go ungrouped. This happened to me and i went by myself and they spawned. Then i called my boyz in and next thing you know.... the cops had to buy another box of chalk.
