At what point in your FS training do you get your alt? I've heard some people say its not until you hit paddy, others just said it was a long way into the fs training.

After you finish the padawan trials, 16 in all you are awarded the second slot and a force bar.

Man that really sucks. I thought the whole point of sony giving you an alt, was to giving something to do so you didn't get bored with the village and quit the game, since apperantly the way to become a jedi is simply years of grinding and watching a village for phase changes, and one stupid mission every 3 weeks or something. man, thanks soe.
