I'm MCM/MRM. I think combate medic is a must if you want to try it solo. Was a fun fight, he never hit me once.

Looks like you ran into the same bug I did then where only some of the Sith Shadows and Thugs could actually hit me 
Also if you KD'd Mell or one of the guys that couldn't hit you they stayed down for ages. Made it nice and quick to solo it and get on to the trials!

That is really impressive. If you don't mind, can you share your tactics? I plan on getting a group for Mel, but I may try to solo it first. BTW, I will have the same template as you when I do this.

Nice work...
I had to take a group, and we had a full spawn of thugs.
We had three jedi, two healers and another MBH. With a rezzer it took three tries... but we got it.
