Title says it all, some of my buds are saying that the FAQ is wrong...

So sad to see this go out the window. Guess it's back to WOW for me.

Yes, but I don't think you get any indication that you have unlocked a second character slot. I think all you have to do is just create a new character on thesame server though.

If I have already maxed my chars per account (one per server) would I have to delete one to create my 2nd char slot?

If it is your first jedi unlocked on the account, you get a additional slot to make another char on that server. If you decide to unlock that 2nd toon and go jedi also, you do not get a second slot char.

Ok let me get this straight in my mind. It sometimes takes a hammer for me to retain information. When i unlock jedi with my FS character that one becomes jedi. and i get a newb character which is not . So would lose my Master Armorsmith?

In the original system, when you "got glowy" you would immediately get a second character slot that was force sensitive and could become a jedi while your original character remained whatever they were....Armorsmith, Bounty Hunter, etc.

In the new system, when your original character"gets glowy" you are on the path to being a Jedi.If you follow that path, that character, your original, loses any semblanceto what they once were. The further you progress towards Jedi, the less you retain of your former persona. When you unlock the second character slot, that character is a non-force sensitive newbie. You can chose to follow the Jedi path with this second character if you want or you can recreate your crafting character.
