Try 1: Get on my bike fail mission from leaving him behind. (i learned from it)

Try 2: I go to the camp get the person walk 800 meters back, and 2 meters from whipe "mission failed, you left him behind" he was 10 meters behind me.

Try 3: i get to the camp, get incapt off my bike, "mission failed you got incapt"

Try 4: I go to the camp talk to the villager, he pulls out a cdef and shoots at the Sith and Does not stop till the sith kill him, he would not run. Mission failed.

Im supposed to do this 5 times, ive tried it 4 times, on my 1st mission, SOE's Content at work.

Now the bike mistake anyone can make, getting incapped.... ok you definitely shouldnt have been incapped its a very easy phase.

when you approach whip if the NPC isnt near you, you fail. you have to wait for him and not go past 120m. you should have caught onto this when you failed with the bike.

he shot a sith, well your suppossed to kill the sith first.... sith will aggro it, so kill them all first then avoid future confrontation (because they AoE like mad and they will kill your NPC).

Its long and frustrating and seemlingly pointless, but if it discouraged someone as short sighted as you, I guess it's doing its job in limitting the jedi population so that not just any newb can be jedi. just selective noobs appearantly.

Don't do the Commander capture quest in Phase 3 because if this one is causing you such grief then the Phase 3 one will drive you to the lunatic asylum.

AGREED !

Compared to the Commander, this Mission was a Super-Easy Cakewalk. Long and annoying. yes--

But.. Hey do the Commander mission in Phase 3 and see self.

I did, in 30 min, and with a few grey hairs more + a good team.

i dont want jedi just the rewards, the first time i messed up yes i agee hehe, but with the guy being like 2 meters behind me and im 10 meters from whip thats kinda lame, thats when i just gave up out of frustation and would come back later

and he only walks, he doesnt even jog lol i have to hold shift down and walk 1k meters to complete this pointless mission

It is pretty easy, it sounds like you are anxious and over zealous. Take a break from it, come back in a day or 2, try again. Tip* Since these guys walk, try walking too. (hold down shiflt key) I had little to no trouble with the escorts. Take a partner if you can, makes the Sith really easy. I solo'd it, but at each of my camps were about 4 or 5 sith. Here is a tip for you if you have mask scent. Locate the aggressive creatures around the camp. Put you between the sith and them. The sith like to use area attacks, and the creatures will do your killing for you. I did just that with 3 of the 5 missions.

Oh, which leads me to my last tip. Since the sith almost always use area attacks. Make sure you store your speeder. Very important to do this.

Good Luck to you.

If you go into ctrl-O there is an option in there something like "Character runs by default", If you de-select it you will always walk without having to hold down shift. This also guarantees that you won't get too far away from the villager.

Thr can go even a bit faster than walking, like the Commander, so, activate Overhead map..

and check yer not running too far off, with theArrow of the Villager following you. If too dar out, stop,

till the arrow getsclose again, then go on. The Villager wont run off, likwe the Commander did.

One partner reallyhelps withkilling the guarding Sith, and with combatting boredom

by chatting, on the way back.

The villager won't run off but more Sith do occasionally spawn on the walk back to the Village and if you are too far away they will kill the villager before you have time to get back and protect them.

Here are some pointers.

1. you do not have to go to whip to get credit for each escort. All the villager has to do is enter the village. So stand 15 meter inside the village entrance and then let the villager come to you. Once they enter the Village you will ge a blurb stating that you completed it. Then go to whip to get the next escort.

2. If you target the villager, you will always know how far they are behind you.

3. Before talking to the villager at the Sith camp, kill all the Sith. If you do not, then the villager will engage them and get killed.

4. By default you have "always run on". CTRL + O brings up the menu to change it.

5. When escorting the villager, face them and use the "S" key or the "Down" arrow to go forward. This will allow you to watch them while going forward. Also, bring up your HUD map because it refreshes faster and easier to avoidcreatures and Sith.

6. Constantly check to make sure the villager is moving, Some time they will stop and you have to retell them to follow you. You can check this by making sure they are targeted and seeing their distance from you come down.

The quest wasveryeasy, but very long. If you follow these steps it should not be hard. Good luck and hope this helped.
