Thread: The attack by Sith ... after visit from old man ...

I am only CL 50.
I am waiting for the Sith attack. In the guide, it says there will be 2-4 of them, levels 76-78.
I won't stand a chance !
Anyone have any solution or advice? I can hardly expect mates to tag along with me for 48 hours to help in the case of attack. But there is no way I can beat them on my own ...

My advice would be to get to CL 80 as quickly as you can. Most of the Force Sensitive quests require you to be CL 80, anyway--if you're going to get anywhere with the village, you'll have a better shot at it at CL 80.
Give up other skills if you have to. You can always grind them back later.
OR you can find some heavy hitters to hang out with for a few days.

Yep give up skills that don't help your combat level. I had to do that just to complete some of the quests.

I kinda feel sorry for the CL 1 crafter that gets the old man visit...

Log out for 3 days in a static city. That way you know the sith will be after you. Send a tell to a couple of friends. Go outside of town and take them out.

dont' worry, i got fs when i was like lvl 20, i was hunting on dantooine, got some of my lvl 80 buddies to kill them when i waited, then i grinded my a$$ of to get to 75 so that i could go to village and kill sh!t

I just got past the sith with my cl 3 crafter. When the old man visited me I knew I had some time. I just stayed in my house and crafted. Then I had a guildie who could take out cl74-76's hang out with me outside my house. When they attacked me, I went inside while they drew aggro, then I came out and fired a couple shots for looting rights and it was done.

If you are in your house, they may appear and come inside but they wont attack you while you remain there. This happened to my wife, who couldn't solo them herself, so she invited a few friends to come group with her while she watched the Sith inside her house. Once there she invited the friends and they attacked and killed the Sith. Its kind of dull to sit there and wait mind you, she just happened to be there at the time sorting out some inventory.
