This will be quite obvious for some players, if you have any comments, please respond.

As a creature handler/rifleman FS dabbler, I find the grind a lot more likable if you try to have fun while grinding. It sure helps to pop out a pet level-30-ish while on Endor for instance. With commands tied to keyboard, i usually single-hit a mob with my pet while spamming hs3 or ss2. Then I usually harvest the corpse too, until the scout xp is maxed.

Thus, when visiting Paemos, I convert all kinds of xp: scout, CH, rifle, combat (+merchant from vendor).

Not a very effective goal-oriented mindless grinding way. I'm sure the boring grenade grind is sure a lot faster. But, personally I won't die of boredom doing this. You get to enjoy the sights of your favorite planet, too.

Btw yesterday I happened to stumble on a spawn of Black suns, halfway from research OP to smuggler OP. My best pet tanked and I got 1k CH xp per guard/assassin. Of course this is another inefficient way to get xp but I had a ball. Anyway, the random spider lairs on Endor are a nice way to fast get your rifle xp to cap 900k.

I completely agree with you. Nothing is worse than grinding (well in the SWG universe..).

I can have Jedi when phase 2 comes but I'm enjoying the way to it. I have 2 full branches and 3 boxes in another and I must say I don't grind.

I do some fighting here, some crafting there, few pilot missions and IDing as well and I like shopping too, I find it fun to try different clothes and weapons for my char.. Well so much for me, I don't need the Jedi, I'll be happy when I get there but I certainly wouldn't like to grind to get it.
