Thread: Non Jedi to half template Jedi, How long? Let's take a look.

First, Let me say these numbers are estimates. They could be off by up to 60 days, give or take.
220,000,000 Regular XP=7.25 Million Force Sensitive XP (What it takes to unlock.)
Under Post Pub 22. Let's assume you can still make 1,000,000 Regular XP in, say, 2 hours of hard grinding (not including time to find a group. etc.)
Let's estimate then that it now takes 220 days to Unlock F.S.
With me so far?
Now you absolutely have to group as a noob paddy because they're so gimped now after all the nerfs, but you also have to realize that any Jedi that's more than half finished on their template would rather solo, more XP for them right? So you need a FULL group of Newbs to help you get XP.
It takes APPRX. 16,000,000 XP to make Half-Template Jedi and perhaps be able to solo well enough on your own to continue the grind.
100XP per kill now in a full group. So lets say in 2 hours you can make 100k XP doing nothing but grinding.
at 2 hours a day of grinding (not including time to find a group.) 7 days a week. You will be half template Jedi in...
160 days.
220 days + 160 days = 380 Days. Or Just over a year... Grinding 2 hours a day, 7 days a week. OR an average of 14 hours per week spent on NOTHING BUT GRINDING.
Which means. It takes 380 Days, or a minimum of 14 hours a week just GRINDING to make HALF-TEMPLATE Jedi now.
Once again.. This time does NOT include time to buy food/restock/do something else/or time spent looking for a group.
Pure Grinding.
So if you play, say, 3-4 days a week of just grinding. your looking at 2 years of constant grinding.
Now you have to decide, is it cheaper to buy your Jedi on EBAY? or wait for two years, and spend 2years of monthly fees to get it?
Let's break it down some more. $14.99 per month x 1 year = $179.88 x 2 (in case it takes you 2 years.) =359.76.
And for betwen 300.00 and 500.00 you can have an Ebay Jedi within the next week or two.
The clear WINNER BY KNOCKOUT IS JEBAY!!!
Why? When you factor in costs, PLUS time spent. Jebay wins by so much that it's rediculous.

That figure of $14.99 a month is somewhat flawed as you can purchase up to a year of playtime in advance for a cheaper rate per month.

none the less, this is ridiculous. it takes so much time now it will turn so many people away from this game. what this game is going to is something nobody but people on their first month will want to play, and after that, itll be over. its just too god forsakenly(?) hard to keep going, i dont think ill even have to pay my 15 bucks anymore.
