Force Sensitive Archive

Let me start by saying that I attempted this quest months ago, but never completed it. It has been sitting, uncompleted, in my quest journal ever since.

Now that I'm ready to restart the quest, I can't! I've tried to speak to the chief engineer, but all he does is give me a line about the sith attacking, without my being able to respond. I figured that maybe this was how it went (it's been a long time, so I've forgotten), and I had a master artisan craft the pieces I needed to complete the satellite tracking device. I put together all of my pieces, and now have the device in my inventory, but when I attempt to use the ticket droid, nothing appears on the radial. I've driven back and forth to the village 3 times, trying to talk to the engineer each time, hoping he'll speak with me, but he won't. I've tried ticket droids at 3 different starports, and none have given me the radial option.

Is this bugged, or am I doing something totally wrong here?

Sounds to me like you did already complete it.

Having it appear as unfinished in your quest journal despite completion is not in any way a unique issue.

My FS Crafting Master Jedi has the same problem. And others have reported the same thing.

The only problem is that I didn't complete it the first time around. I got so far as to track the satellite, but I managed to get all of the combinations wrong and destroyed the piece.

I'm really at a loss here, lol. If I have to drive to the village for the 4th time today, I may just go insane.
