I have been asking Support to fix my character for almost 3 weeks for the entire phase 3 I have been unable to get the final quest I wanted and needed from Eozlin, the Survey quest which would finish my last branch for starting the Padawan Trials. I already have all of the XP saved to fill all branches, but specifically wanted this quest, and it looks like I'll have to wait another 84 days before I can get the quest.

I am just ranting but this is just wrong, especially for a casual player who has been playing the game since Beta 2, to simply be told sorry "File a Bug Report". What is so stupid is I have done this quest before helping other friends out and its simple, what did they do to break it?

Did anyone here actually get to do this quest or was it broken for everyone?

im having a problem with it...why cant i find aluminum?!?! lol what tool do i use? i cant seem to find the option to survey for it

There might not BE any aluminum on the planet you are searching on. Use your mineral survey tool but if you don't find any in the list, go to another planet and try there.

Yep, if a resource doesn't show up on your machine, try another planet. Oh, but one of the quests I got required me to find Energy - which doesn't show on my sensor either. I made myself a Wind Energy Sensor and got the quest that way, so they can be buggy

I had no problems on 2 toons now.

My tip would be to shuttle to every city you can until its complete - you'll probably only need 10-12 hops and survey right there in the starport.

If you stay on one planet then chances are there will be a couple of resources that aren't actually spawning - remember that IF your survey tool shows no (for example) aluminum then there is none of that resource ANYWHERE on that planet and you need to shuttle to another.

Its a shame that you failed because of an oversight and not a bug.....CSRs are unlikely to deal with this issue. Its an 84day wait or a different senses line I'm afraid.

BUT....if you couldn't actually start the quest then did you check if you had Novice Artisan? If you did have that skill and still couldn't accept the mission then you are either bugged (which should get fixed for you) or you already picked another Phase 3 mission.

Yes I did have Artisan, the problem was that Eozlin kept telling me "Thank you for do the quest, hope you enjoy your new fangled survey device, and go see Noldan for any new skills you acquired.", it was acting like I already finished it, and I have not even started it. 8( but after 5 tickets to CSR's kept telling me it was a known bug and that they could not fix me. Basically they said Tuff!
