Thread: Sith waypoint glitch, keeps cloning itself

I already posted this in the In game support forum, but since I'm not getting any answers right now and this is a much more active forum, I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem before.
What is happening is I am at the 4th part of the force sensitve quests, where you go to the waypoint looted from the Sith thugs that attack you after the old man visit. I got the datapad from them no problem. The waypoint sent me to an area in the desert on Tatooine, nothing there to interfere, no buildings nothing. Yet when I get there, there is nothing. I have gone back to this point about 10 different times, tried walking out there to give it a chance to spawn, nothing. I send in tickets, of course no help. So I deside to delete the force crystal and just try to start again. Problem is, the waypoint keeps coming back, and a new waypoint creates its self on top of the old one every time the game loads, so if I travel, or log out and back in, there is another waypoint.
They just keep coming up again and again, and if I don't keep up with deleting them they would take over my whole datapad. It has been almost a week and the old man hasn't come back again and the waypoint just keeps coming back with nothing at the point. Any suggestions at all?

I ran into this same problem myself and it nearly drove me insane.What I did was submit a ticket and a helpful CSR was able to simply log into the game andrespawn the camp for me. If you get a BS response in answer to your first ticket don't get discouraged, just keep submiting them until you get a "good" CSR that will do this for you.

Have you deleted the wp from your datapad? Also delete the wp from your inventory. That might help otherwise have fun waiting for a csr to respond.

I've tried deleting the waypoint from the inventory, changes nothing.
Finally got a response to my ticket though, and aparently if the CSR knows what they're doing and I'm online it can be fixed. So loringr, I guess just pick a time when you can stay online for a long time and submit a ticket imediately and hopefully they will get to you while online.

hmmmm starnge... ive nvr had this problem! i hope things work out
