You need 4,900,000 FS xp to fill the 4 trees. I've heard that Advanced Droid Frame units are the ticket... 150 steel and 70 Fiberplast each. General crafting transfers at 8:1 and all other crafting (DE included) is 5:1. So w/ the Wind Generators which are General Crafting XP... you'd need to get 39,200,000 in General Crafting XP and w/ the DE item you would need 24,500,000 of "Other" Crafting XP. Hope my math is correct.... just remember the conversion rates come into play. I'm doin the Droid Frame Units myself... as opposed to the Gungan Head Statues that have also been used to grind... but Structure Crafting only converts at I think 35:1... so it's way too resource intensive.
How much xp does making a Adv Droid Frame produce? Are you saying if you have the resources you could just sit there and make these, time after time? Would be a very dull grind but would keep ya safe and able to sit in the village while you do it...
Well according to SWGCraft.com ( ADF Unit ) its worth 460 exps. So to get the full tree of Crafting boxes - the 24,500,000 exps as mentioned above), you would need to grind a mere 53,261 ADF. You will need roughly 8 million Steel and 3.7 million fibreplast (at 2cpu cost for utter grinding resources thats a mere 25 million credits or so. Assuming you can find the materials that cheap. Otherwise start harvesting now and add that time to the total). If you can make one every 5 seconds using macros to do all but click in the ingredients, it will only take you 74 mind-numbingly boring hours of gameplay. You will probably acquire a nice case of Carpal Tunnel syndrome. I would highly suggest reconfiguring your mouse wheel to be a double click when you click on it to save you some effort. That is only 18.5 hrs per branch I suppose, so while its inhumanly dull, it is possible.
I guess the key question is: Is it worth the effort for the results? If the experimentation line gave you extra experimentation points then I would have no qualms about saying yes, but since it doesn't do that, I am not sure the results are all that worthwhile overall. So 74 hours of repetitive action without any variety, and 25 million credits worth of materials to gain a few negligable abilities from what I can see.
Of course the great prize for me is the alt slot, so I don't see the value to these abilities when I examine the cost. And I don't have anything near 25 million credits.
