Gee whiz, i see SO MANY threads on here about that nearly f-in impossible quest about the commander capture one, why is everyone spending so much time on it? Is it the draw of getting that crystal? For me, the point of doing these quests is to unlock a branch, which Dageerin's does. My question is, is it just as hard as the commander capture one or much easier? If the former, then I will s-t-f-u right now. If its much easier, then why is everyone so hyper about the commander capture one? Am I alone when i say screw it and go for the easier one?

Any threads on tips for the dageerin quest (phase 3)? I cant seem to find any, they are dwarfed by the commander one.

and yes, the commander quest is hard because you have to kill 5 thugs (with 80k HAM, 80% resist, and medium armor) in order to spawn the commander, but the gate of the base is heavily guarded by roughly 20-40 thugs, depending on how many people are grouped with you.. oh and did I mention there are turrets in the base too? and theres always random mobs too..

concealshot wont work on these thugs, so if you're rifleman, get that out of your mind.. I've tried it many times..

it took me5 attempts to solo it.. (actually 4 attempts, but dammit, I didn't know the commander HAD to stay with you or you fail.. lol)

Dageerin's quest is super easy compared to the Captains Quest. I did the Captains quest last Phase 3, because the MeleeAcc. aids me in my grind sense I'm a Master Swordsman. I did not care too much about the crystals.I did it solo and I thought I was going to pass out from frustration.

Now I'm doing Dageerin's Quest and it is soooooooooooooo easy.

yup easy.. but being gated is soooooooooo annoying!

I got me a 3.5 hour buff, and when I finished my three missions, I had 3 hours and 6 minutes left.. what a waste =P

I didn't feel like hunting either.. lol

I totally agree. I just want to get it over. I just take the rest of my buff and gofightNightsisters on the Westside for crystals.

Thank you all, I just wanted to make sure I wasnt "getting it". Im not unlocking a branch to get the skills, Im doing it to unlock the padawan stuff. I would rather not risk not being able to complete the quest and having to wait another 3 weeks. Im signing up for the easier one tonight. Call me a wuss, but I havent needed the mind crystal up until this point, I can do without it.
