Thread: Confused on the first/starter village quest....anyone?

First off, I apologize for this FS 'newbie' question. I just seem to stay confused about this issue no matter how much of the forums I read.
I got to the village and started my first quests - to go out and kill some siths. It told me I had 8 quests to do. I was able to do 6 of them solo. (this was before the CU obviously). So I was unable to finish all 8... as a matter of fact, it was still telling me 7/8 that I was on. The problem being, the quest guy has disappeared and I can't finish offthese quests.
It was the quests that require you to do like 2, then wait 24 hrs, come back and do some more, repeat.
Is it the phase? Will the guy re-appear? Do I start the quests over?
Btw, I've talked to Capt. Seguwhatever and he tells me that I need to get back out there and get to work! and be a soldier or something. But no choices in the conversation.

it sounds like you were doing the phase 3 quest. Unfortunately, when the phase shifts, if you have not completed the quest, you have to start over at the beginning when phase 3 comes around again. you could try to contact a CSR stating that you are unable to begin the phase 4 quest because of a bug.. this has been a general problem for a lot of people since the CU. there are ALOT of posts on this problem, go to page 2 or 3 and im sure you will find them.
