Thread: So about the Phase 4 Captain Sarquillo Bug...

Ok so im on the Ranged SPEED quest...I killed the 50 outlaws and 25 pirates...Then I went to unlock ranged speed but the captain says something like "you are too busy with other quests" or something...
Anyway i found out its a huge bug (ala the huge 5 page sticky thread).....
Anyway now what? I just wait? What happens when the next phase starts? Do i lose all my kills for the outlaws/pirates?
Lastly, I cant do another quest while in this phase right? (Sorry im new to FS)...

I got the same thing for Melee Defense but I was able to train the boxes. It appears to be text bug so far. We'll see when the next phase comes around and we try to take quest number next.

You just have to wait till they fix the bug. I have the same issue but I've been bugged since the day after the phase started.
And no you can't do any more misson while in this phase just have to go grind on fs till next phase.

Dude, what are you talking about?? Yes you do...This is a KNOWN Bug...Im not the only one with this problem...I also tried talking to Noldan too, and to Paemos...So yes you are wrong...Plus, im supposed to claim my reward from the Captain.

I got the same message but I checked then my combat windows and after you get all the kills there was the message that I finished the quest and can also get train in it

Yes, I also finished my quest unlocking one branch on my skill tree, converted all my XP with Paemos, and then was able to train with Noldan. Grinding away until the next phase...

Hey guys, not everyone gets the bug. I don't know why...but it happens. I had the bug myself. All you have to do is send in a ticket under missions/interactive npc's. Make sure the ticket is very detailed, and the csr will answer as soon as possible (i've found out the more detailed, the sooner the answer.)

Noldan is a Trandoshan and a master of melee combat. He is in love with Marite, believing his heart's secret is his own, but she is aware of his feelings and she reciprocates them. She won't act on her feelings though until she believes the village is safe from harm (how tragic that the village will never be safe). Noldan has been known to train outsiders who are working for the benefit of the village. He will teach you in the FS skill boxes that you have unlocked and have enough FS experience to purchase.

Well, I got the bug, did the quest, finished the quest and CAN'T TRAIN.
And I also can't send a friggin ticket because the stupid knowledge base is locked up on the "Searchign for articles" display.
PULL YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR FOURTH POINT OF CONTACT, SOE!

ok, this is what happened for me last time around. I trained in the melee defense branch and got the same message and no reward after i completed my quest. When i logged in the first day AFTER the phase had chaged, I got the message -Quest incomplete, Defend the village against Mallichaes Shadow thugs/pirates- I put in a ticket, CSR told me there would be no problem, and sure enough it worked ok. I did the quest this time around but dont know if i can train yet

I'm not able to train my ranged speed, either. He won't talk to me and noldan is saying that there's nothing I can learn... I have 250k of the 175k fs combat experience that I need to get lvl 1 ranged speed...
Slightly frustrating...

Sure, beacuase what can thes do when you only say i'm stucked or game is bugged 
Without description you can't throubleshoot anything
