Thread: why do I NEED CL80?
Personally Cl54 means you've mastered SOME elite combat class you can use the most powerful weapons availble to you so I don't see where the problem lie. I've also never seen a village group be so picky as to turn down people based on thier CL. Personally there are many people that are only in the village to open up thier second character slot not to go full jedi. If they devs were more reasonable you should get your second slot at glowy rather than do all the training.
I'm CL 61 (master rifle/master marksman with a little BH) and I solo level 76s, with the help of my faithful probot droid, and I've moved 4 boxes closer to jedi since the CU.
My alt, who is combat lvl 80 due to being master doc/master sl with marksman 0044, has no problem taking on sith shadows one or two at a time with her little laser carbine.
Keep on dancing. It would be a very sad galaxy if all the dancers and musicians went full combat.
I think I explained this in another thread but here it goes again...
At CL 54, if you are out hunting with a group killing CL 82 Gurks, you are not recieveing the full amount of exp you could. Every level you go up increases the amount of exp you get. Therefore, it WILL take you MUCH longer to get all that FS exp you needespecially if you go reflexes and combat (which is where the skillsare that are helpful to Jedi). Sure I CAN be done, but I wouldn't do it. Also, you will get killed 100000000000000000000 times as a Jedi at CL54. You are BH bait, I'd kill you in probably about 10 hits, more then enough so that you never break out of stopping shot. Jedi is a combat profession, a PvP profession.
Ooooooohhhhh, it's all about how FAST you can get to jedi!! Do you get a prize if you get there first? Sadly I won't get it because I won't unlock the last skill I need for a couple more phases, by which time I should have more than sufficient FS XP at my current rate. And your 1000000000000000000000 figure sounds unsupported, could you show me the figures behind that sum? It doesn't seem to match up with my experience grinding with padawans. And as far as being able to get me in 10 hits, you can try it, but you might wind up at the cloner's with some of my mbh friends that I've dueled, because I can take you down with my rifle in 5 (or less, if I get a good critical hit in).
I think I explained this five minutes ago to yet another one of you overbearing "my way is the only way" type gamers (do you have a clone factory somewhere?), but here it goes again . . . . there are many ways to play this game. Going around claiming that your way is the only way to do it is not only incorrect, it indicates an unfortunate lack of social skills that qualifies you to go around knocking on doors trying to convert people to your religion but isn't very conducive toward earning you friends, respect, the power you apparently crave, things like that.
his estimate on you being an easy target are just about accurate. If a ch lvl 80 MBH came after you ch lvl 50 whatever, you will be dead quick. you will not have the Ham to support his onslaught of attacks. Plus you can only heal once a minute if using stims. As a padawan you are easy bait no matter what you pull out your pocket, trust me. BH's are going after the quick paydirt, i.e padawans under 150k. Unless you have healer in your jedi temp, you will go down fast. All they will do is root you, knock you down, 2 hits, /deathblow. Without defenses in your padawan template, there are MANY bounty hunters that will take you out in a few shots. I have seen it done. Ive also been hit for some unreal damage from BH's as well.
