Thread: Is ranged def really necasary?

The only reason I ask this question is that i unlock next phase and I have enough fs xp stored up but i just think that I should grind one more branch and swap range acc for ranged def.. I know this is a better skill but how "good" is it really? (its just another 1225k fs xp to grind thats holing me back... ) I need to do some other stuff before i unlock anyways...
I know this isnt really a question but if some1 could tell me if ranged def is really THAT useful it would be appreciated.

I'm in the same boat as you...I COULD unlock with Phase 2, but I have decided to wait until Phase three for RD. This link has a nice list at the beginning of the FS skills and how valuable (or not) they are to jedi. I think RD will be worth the wait.
But that's just one person's opinion

I am in the same boat, however I finished the xp about 2 months before my final phase. Having nothing better to do, I ground out the xp for a 7th branch on crystal mobs.
Then I REALLY had nothing to do. I log in for a few hours when the phases change and spend my time in other games. Welcome to S Wait G.
The extra xpwill allow me to begin initiate next phase, and drop something for ranged defense the phase after. (There's no bloody way I was going to wait 3 more useless weeks)

You could always grind XP for me during those useless three weeks.
