Thread: Failed Phase 4, but not really?

So I log in yesterday, and it says I have failed Phase 4, yet I did complete it, and even my quest journal says I completed. What's up with that!?!?!?!

I DID seethatmessage when I logged in last night. But it's not a problem as far as I can tell... I have already filled in two boxes in the tree I opened up in phase IV. Another friend of mine also saw the message and asked me about it.

I got this messege yesterday as well but when I check the force crystal shows it as complete and my branch is still unlocked..but that did give me a scare for a moment.

No it means you failed to keep going on it. I think you can keep doing it and get a reward.

yep, i believe if you continue to fight, and kill another 50 or so of each type of sith shadow, you get rewarded somehow. But this is pure speculation. I have a feeling the melee defense reward is there, just takes a little longer to get it.

Nah, that may have been intended, but was taken out when they split the melee defense and whatever branch, (ranged speed?). But anyways, once you completed the mission it wouldn't let you take the mission again.

When you get that msg doesnt mean you failed the mission its is jsut part of the story line to phase 1 where the village is partly destroyed, thats how the village cycles to a continuious basis.

Which message did you get? I ask this because Phase IV and Phase I are two part quest.
For Phase 4:
Part 1 - Kill 25 Sith Shadow Pirates
Part 2 - Kill 50 Sith Shadow Outlaws
Killing the 25 Sith Shadow Pirates completes the requirements to unlock your branch. The rest completes your quest. Meaning if you haven't killed 50 Sith Shadow Outlaws then you failed the quest. I also noted that I go a count of Pirates killed as well as number left across the screen when I killed one, but did not get a display for Outlaws.

I believe its just for the story line. The village has been destoyed, hence we have "failed".

Man, they ought to fix this message! Talk about almost having a heart attack! I offed more than the 25 pirates and 50 outlaws required, and since I often play on off hours, it was a real pain!!! As long as I can train the skill it doesn't matter, but they really need to patch this before the next phase 4!
