Thread: Are dantooine solo groups the best way to get FS xp?

Huurton Stalker missions from a solo group work pretty good for me. You can also kill everything you see on the way to and from your missions, though that's usually been pretty sparse for me.

Others have other methods that work for them, and I've tried just about all of them, this one being best for me. You'll really want to try every suggestion you get and pick the best for you as well.

Since solo groups have been challenging to find since they fixed them I've done some experimenting to see which works best for me

I have found that Endor and Dathmoir seem to work really well for me. I just start walking and when I run into stuff I start killing. I haven't deceided which I think is better, it's close between the two planets but I'm leaning to Endor.

Endor is pretty good, especially those mantigrue (or whatever you call the flying mobs). I had a lair that simply would not stop spawning these things to the point where I reluctantly had to hop on the swoop and get out of there.

Last night, I converted XP at the Village and found I needed to earn maybe only 100,000 unarmed to top off the branch. So, rather than head back to Dantooine for more huurton stalker missions, I thought I'd just roam around the outskirts of the Village and kill what I saw. I got about 1000 to 2000m south of the village and started whomping on a brackaset lair. That previous poster was right: I easily netted 100,000 unarmed XP alone. By that time, a ton of other lairs had slowly spawned in my general proximity, and so I just walked from one to the next: kinad baz nitches, bolmas, brackasets, gaping spiders. It was a non-stop XP farm. Before long, I had over 500,000 unarmed XP racked up and I maybe had been out there only 30 to 40 minutes or so.

Since I left my toon in the village last night (now that I can this Phase :smileywink, I'm going to just buff myself there and run around in the plains and valleys south of the village. Added bonus: you're right there by the village to convert and go back at it again.

This is another reason i liked to grind on Dath.

I've never had much luck with the wild lair method. Seems even with the travel time, I get more XP getting missions. Maybe I'll try Dath outside the village again, I do remember hitting a couple of Brack lairs that spawned quite a number of critters.

I dont have much time to play except a bit in the evenings so im wondering what will give the most xp for the time. I amtka and non-grenader so im wondering if the best way to go is to take solo group stalker missions and spin them to death or perhaps go to some other planet and do regular solo missions?

I have been to the squill caves and they seem very hit/miss - if there is 1 other person there its great xp very fast but any more and its just not worth the waiting for respawn.

any help /suggestions would be appreciated.

Huurton stalker missions are fast and give good xp, between 4 and 5k per huurton from what i've seen. Prolly the best way that i have found to gain xp though (if cash isn't an issue) is to get to dantooine, and just start walking and killing. As a curtesy, i'd recommend that you don't completely kill the lairs (if you kill the initial spawn of a lair, after a few minutes it will repawn and the person who's mission it is, will still be able to get the xp/cash for doing it). It's easily possible to gain 600k xp in a buff this way, and that's if you're doing a lot of stoping, healing, chatting, etc. A guild mate last night said that he made 900k xp in 2.5 hours, as a TKM doing this.

I'm going to guess that the same theory is applicable on other planets as well. Hope that helps you some.

Please don't lie to me, unless you're absolutely sure I'll never find out the truth.

thanks for that tip. I might try it again however in the past when i try to just walk around it seems like either really easy spawns appear or the ones that take forever to kill.

What ive found is that when you do the solo missions each wave of mobs is larger, i guess ill have to compare the two methods and see which is better.

What planet do you guys recommend?

I did a majority of my grinding on dath, mostly giant baz's and rancor.. pretty much anything I saw.. if you see any dead logs with male brackasets nail it, you could get up to 100k xp from one log!

How much xp do giant baz nitches give you?

Does this work even if you are not on the same planet as your group members?

Giant Baz's give about 4-5k XP each.

Yeah you can still Solo group and go wherever you like. You get the missions, just not the cash

So if you get a 30k mission, and you in a group of 10 people who are elsewhere - you get 3k.
