Which is better ( i know protons are better, but which is worth it more?)

Is it worth it mastering commando...how much willl it speed up my grinding as oppose to using protons?

Also prices do not matter as i can get either made by a WS in guild

Also dont discuss grinding time for commando, thats not a problem either, i only want to know how much better protons are to therms in FS grinding. TY!

well, im a master commando and i use Protons (when i can find them) i capped combat twice in 50mins. Ive tried Thermals but not found them any good, stick with protons

That's not true. Thermals work fine. Obviously protons are preferable, I've been a master commando, but I started out being 4000 just so I could use thermals.

If you get a good crate of therms, and powerups, you can do 2.5k damage easily. Go to dath, throw 'em at giant baz lairs. With protons you're looking at 4-5 stacks per lair, thermals, about 6-8 stacks per lair. Both will net you about 80k combat xp if you're in a big group.

I've never used protons, but thermals work really fine. I use 4 stacks per lair with 75-80k combat xp at the end. so 4 lairs and you're capped. It takes about 30 minutes to cap combat xp with thermals. I'm sure it'd be faster with protons, but 30 minutes to cap is good enough. I can easily make 400k fs xp per buff session with giant baz nitch lairs on dath.
