Force Sensitive Archive

Took me until 2am, but we finally got it done.

The first time we went out it was 4 of us and I was partnering with a guildie for the mission. Itwas takinga looooong time to kill the 5 sith and to make a long story short, the guildie who downed the shields ended up dead. I wait for despawn (guildie tells me I have an hour once they despawn), grab the commander and start bookin it outta there. Well just about the time I reach the front gate they all respawned and I was cut down in short order.

So next we go out with three of us and at the last minute hooked up with some allies that were also doing the mission and had 2 Knights with them. We go to their base first and in the blink of an eye every sith was dead or dying so I just beat down the gates. Their guy runs in, grabs commander, runs back out...np. We walk back to village and my friend and I retake the quest and head out to our wp.

Somewhere between reaching the village and heading to our wp the Jedi leave unbeknownst to me (doh) so we get to the base and I lower shields, sith spawn and start chasing us around kicking our hides. I get incapped, but don't die. A different Jedi from our allies guild comes over to help out. He aggro'd most of themand ran them away from us, but he ended up dying (We appreciate his sacrifice). I get incapped and recover and then decide "What the hell" and run back into the Sith. I get killed. My buddy in the meantime managed to run in without getting aggro'd and capture the commander. Learning from my mistake, he waited for them to despawn again before leavingEdit: Come to think of it, I think he said they were stuck on the wall and couldn't get him hehe. We met up on the way to the village and since I didn't have buffs anymore I pretty much just rode my swoop ahead of him and tried to get anything red to chase me outta his way. We finally got back to the village and be both breathed a sigh of relief.

Just for the benefit of those that haven't done this yet. When I died after lowering the shields I got a mission failed message stating the only way to complete the mission was if my partner captured the commander (since Iwas supposed to bring the shields down - makes sense right?). When my partner captured the commander I got another message that said mission failed because someone other than yourself captured the enemy commander (ok that makes no sense since I wasn't supposed to capture him anyhow). I was really thinking after the second message that I was screwed, but the mission completed fine once we got him back to the Cap'n. So don't panic at the mission failed messages unless you both die....then you will need to retake it as we did.
