Hi all!
I was wondering about something and hoping you can help me out.
If I do the melee acc quest grpd with someone who isn't doing the quest too,do I get the mind buffing crystal?
If I do the quest grpd with someone who's doing it too,do I get the mind buffing+ the colour crystal?
Also, where can I find siths that drops the datadisk I need?
Thanks!

To get the mind crystal you have to do the quest with someone who is doing the quest as well.
One of you must drop the shields and the other has 2 capture the commander and take him back to the village. In this way you will get the mind crystal and the named crystal. If you group with someone who isnt doing the quest they wont b able to drop the shields or capture the commander so you would have to do both bits and this would count as you doing it solo and so you would not get the mind crystal.
The sith that drop the waypoints and the remoete codes can usually b found near the bases that you will have to attack later.
Hope this helps

Can you or someone confirm this? I always thought frequency drops were just random. It doesn't matter where you're killing the Siths.
Killing Siths near base X,and datadisk dropsdoesn't mean it is for the shields of base X.
I'd likesome advise on this or confirmation?

i think you just misread what warfer read. when i read it it seemed to make sense to me, but i know how the quest works. anyway, here's an explanation which should answer your question:
it is possible to loot the discs from any sith you kill. however, the majority of sith will be near one of the bases. the waypoints on the discs and the frequency discs are not nescessarily for the base which was near the sith you looted it from.

yeah, usually within about 100-200m. just circle around it and you should find some, but be careful cuz there will be big groups of about 10-15 of them

I have a follow-up question:
I found a disk and returned to the Captain. He gave me the shield controls for Beta Base. I have found 10 bases, but none of them are Beta. Is it possible to kill more Sith, find more disks, and get more shield controls for other bases, or are you stuck with the first one the Captain gives you for the entire phase?

you can have as many remotes as you want. i took 7 frequency disks to the captain and he gave me 7 seperate remotes. the easiest way to do this quest is to get as many frequency disks as possible then you can choose the closest base.
by the way, if you havent been doing it already, i would advise you to make note of the waypoints and the corresponding names for each base you find, just in case you get a remote for it

Luckily I have been keeping track of WPs and the current names of the bases. Thanks for the answer - I'll head back out and get more disks later today.
