Thread: Glowie trouble...seem to have everything I need....

Hey all,
After completing the Warren with one of my toons today (got both badges) I went to check my status...wasn't glowie yet. Now prior to doing the Warren, I had visited the 3 Jedi POI, should have all 5 Easy POI, and visited all 5 of the Difficult POI. I also have completed the Nym's Themepark, the Jabba's Themepark, and the Rebel Themepark (this toon is a rebel). By looking at this setup, I should have glowie by now, but I'm still "surging" as I was after visting the last of the Jedi POI after completing everything on that list except the Warren (prior to surging i was "faint"). I'm out of ideas except one: I have to do the Corvette. I REALLY hope this is not the case, as I hardly know anyone on this server and am not part of a guild 
. I'm currently trying to visit EVERY POI in the game atm just to make sure, but I have my doubts.

i dont think you need to do the vette. you may have just missed some POIs that you need. i am 2/3 of the way through the village and am going to the vette tomorrow for the first time (guild outing 
). if you have been to all the POIs and are still not glowy then you may have a problem

Ya like someone else said, the corvette does not count. You say you have all the content badges, jedi POI's, and hard/easy POI's. You have not mentioned that you have at least 1 master "elite profession"? If you dont have the profession thing done, thats why. If you do have it then get out there to some more hard/easy POI's just for good measure. Maybe the server needs to reset?( highly unlikely tho ).

ah yeah, forgot about the profession badge. i dont actually think it has to be an elite prof either. all the guides say you need an elite prof but someone in my guild said she was glowy and the only prof she had mastered was medic. either you only need a normal prof or she h4x!

lol j/k. Good to know; if it is infact true. I didnt even bother to get glowly untilI had a full template on this account. If I had begun from the start I wouldnt be waiting for the coming phase 3 to be jedi

doh, forgot to let you guys know about the prof badges. Currently I'm have the following:
Master Brawler
Teras Kasi Master
Master Swordsman
So i'm all set on that front (forgot to mention the most obvious lol). Still "surging"atm...I'll update as soon as I complete all the POIs, hell I'll probably even get the racing badges to be safe (pretty sure I have enough from looking at my badges....but still to be safe...). If I get all of these and still no "glowie" i can probably conclude from both what I've read and from what you've all said, that my /check status is borked. In that case I'll probably wait 3 days as that's as much as I can do, right? Thanks very much all for your help thus far. I've gotten glowie on other characters before, but oddly enough this one (the one I've always wanted to get glowie with the most) has been nothin' but trouble.

When I finished the Warren I was in the same place where you are now.
What I did was go back and make sure I got the badges. I had actualy missed one Jedi POI and went back and got it then I was glowy.
You may have just missed one badge or not gotten credit for one you did go to.
Just scan your list and make sure you have them all.
If you do find out you have all the requirements go out and grab a couple fresh badges (1 more hard and 1 more easy should be fine if you can).
I'd already collected 50+ badges when I was in the position you are in, so I had a lot extra, I was just missing one I thought I had recieved.

...also just thought of something, dunno of it's relevance or not....
Would it effect anything if I had some of the required badges pre-Publish 9 (or whichever publish the village was added in). I started playing this character a while ago and I probably visited some of the dangerous POI and Jedi POI (2 to be specific) before that publish. Also did the Rebel themepark at that time. Anyone think that this could have effected it?

it may well have done. i think there was a bug with pre publish X people at one point so it may still be in live. check you have verything you supposedly need and then if you do, write a ticket to a CSR and find out if you being pre-village is nerfing you

Hm I think that bug was just that you wouldnt update to each step of the way. It was seemingly "stuck" on the same message, until you earnedall the required stuffand then it updated to glowy. I have a pre-9account andits badges were accepted just fine. I was glowly on the day it went Live.
If it doesnt update, and like someone else mentioned, you are 100% sure you have not missed and badges,submit an in-game ticket about it. A CSR should be able to help.

great guys....thanks for all the help, very much appreciated.
I'll go finish up my POI badging and do the races for good merit, then if i'm not glowie after carefully reviewing my badge requirements being fulfilled, i'll submit a ticket. Again, thanks much!

gaaaaaaaaaah.....someone slap me sideways...I feel like such a n00b now.
I just reviewed my badges bit by bit and discovered something....I didn't have the Nyms badge 
I could have sworn I did it though, but then I remembered I partially did it, but I couldn't continue because it was bugged. (couldn't talk to Kobe after doing Jinkins stuff)
Headed over there now to try it, I'm almost 100% positive this will work. Oy, I feel like the laughing stock of the FS forum for this n00b branding mistake

heh, been there done that.
I missed the Jedi POI on Dant. A planet I spent a lot of time on.
