They waypoints are bugged. If you go to a guy and run out of range from him he despawns.
It happened to me twice.
HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO DO THESE DARN TRIALS?????????

That must suck. I am not looking forward to my trials now after reading how they are so fragile. Seems the slightest hang-up and its all shot to hell.
Good Luck on your journey to Jedi!!

I did most of my trials today and had same problems. Most of the problems were from 1-8. After I got initiate, I only had 1 case where the starting npc was not there.
Oddly enough,I read where it said to avoid missions on Rori as they were bugged.......... I didnt' have any problem with missions on rori, in fact not a one I did there bugged. I never had to get off my bike 150-300m away or anything.
got my padawan tonight!

Quick suggestions for paddys doing their trials.
1. Don't drive your speeder in there, it can screw it up, walk.
2. Don't get in combat close to your NPC waypoint, Period, you do and he can despawn.
3. Obey first 2 rules, more then likely at least one of your trials will bug, just live with it, the rest of us have. I had to redo the Falumpaset trial myself, and trust me, finding 20 falumpasets can be a REAL pain in the butt some days, even grabbing Gungan missions.

aye, the paddy trials are a buggy mess, maybe a hidden overall meaning: "a jedi should be able to acknowlege the bugs, but pass by them and suceed in the task at hand" ?

I needed to make the flaumpaset trial again too. I spent more than 1 hrs to make the 1st, you can imagine in what stat i was when the npc despawned.

Yeah I alawys got off my bike 300m away from the npc and never had one single bugged trial. One time I was even 50m away from my npc and got attacked but my npc did not despawn.... Guess the force is strong with me
