Thread: Sith Shadow WayPoint Datapad...

I just got attacked by 3 Sith Shadows.. I defeated them and retrieved aWaypoint Datapad.
However when I try to 'use' the Waypoint Datapad it says "You must loot this item before you can use it!". But the item is in my Inventory.
Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately this happens to many people. Try putting it into your backpack and see if it works from there.
If not you will have to destroy it and the Sith Shadows will come again...

when you loot the datapad, do so by opening the inventory into a window, and clicking on the pad itself.
if the quest completion is triggered you'll get a message ni the center screen
check in your quest log for the step "defeated sith ambush"
if you have that, then you can drop the pad in your house or put it in a container and take it out again to recieve credit

I found another solution to this problem..
Defeat all the sith before looting any of them. Then when u loot the Datapad you can read the Waypoint.
