Any one done the exit quest recently that could comment on if the crystals are still bugged and only the person with the quest can destory them? Any pointers would also be appreciated. Could 3 people beat this? (MBH,Pistols,Carbines/MBH,MCM,Carbines/MFencer,MDoc,Swordsman)?

I helped a friend out with this quest a while ago (like a week or so ago) and I destroyed one of the crystals.

If the crystal "bugs" relog and it will respawn, you will then be able to destroy it.
