I know it is random and will most likely happen tonight... but the suspence is killing me!

Does it get more likely to get a spawn the longer you wait?

Please share your stories of crazy Old man experinces if you feel like it.

This might be good advice. Stay on the same planet and in the same general area. I see the Old Man lingering around most towns with nobody for him to talk to. If this is your 3rd day then he is visiting you tonight for sure. Stay on foot and do some shopping in a player town. He visited me in under 3 days and as soon as I ran into sweetwater, he came running up to me.

I keep seeing this, what does QFE stand for? I thought it was something derogatory

QFE means "Quoted for Emphasis"...

got my crystal...

I seemed to spawn some non aggro force trained archaists right before... is this completely unrelated?

I've recieved both visits from the old man, and both times it happened on the first day. The second time I missed the old man TWICE though. Everytime he's visited me was shortly after I logged in.

try staying in player cities or out of npc cities. Decorate ur house, buy stuff u dont need, or get a pet. Doesnt matter, just stay out of npc cities.

Run around, do missions, ect. He will come.


The best thing I can suggest is to not think about it and keep an eye on your radar, or else you will go crazy.


I took missions out of the dantooine mining outpost, after a while of doing missions he finally showed up. I didn't even notice the time go by, I was so busy killing things

It all depends on where you wait... The Old Man visited me in less than three days. I think this happened because of the numurous relogs while waiting just outside a player city.

Once he does come, make sure to answer the questions correctly and quickly. I waited to long to answer one of the questions and he left and was unable to /converse with.

But no worry. I logged out and logged backed in...waited a few minutes and there he was again.
