Guys,
Im finally realising that swordsman is borked in PvP now, and as Im gonna be finishing the last fs quest and tier tonight
I need to start thinking about a total respec.
Currently Im TKM/MSwordbut needsomething that stands a chance against all the roots/bleeds/ranged attacks.
I like the idea of MCM with Paralyse with possibly Pistolier but I know ill miss my hammer
Any ideas on a reasonable template that will hold up through the proper jedi grind?
/sad to have to change
Thanks for the input

Personally Im going MBrawler/TKM/MPikeman/ 0/0/4/0 Medic and eventually getting MPilot heh. I like the pikeman for the Intimidate and the Warcry myself. Then again im not a pvper, me and my rl buddies are mostly pve so the intim and warcry are great for me, for tanking krayts etc.

mrifle/msmuggler or mbh you get long range good damage and some sweet specials... and the bh never really expect you to whip out a big azz gun and kd or root em lol

Don't Respec To a FOTM Template
please, dont stoop to the level of respecing to a FOTM. it is just not right. i am a master swords/TKM with some medic and i do fine in PvP. i dont want to be rude, but if you think that respecing to the current FOTM will make you all powerful and uber, you are wrong. skills and PvP experience will help you more than a FOTM template will. master swords/TKM is an excellent template because of the swordsman attacks and the TKA innate armor, and if you are not dumb and show of your glowstick during the jedi grind you will not get visibility and wont need to worry about anything. a little medic will help, but dont change your entire template because master swords/TKM will hold you up through the proper jedi grind.

i hate any and all FOTM templates. BH, CM/DOC, rifleman....i could go on and on. if i think you are cool though, i will only hate your template and not you personally. if you piss me off somehow, i will hate you and your template. you seem pretty cool darknexus, and since you have commando in your template, i dont hate it

I have to agree. You don't need to get rid of TKM/Swordsman to be better at PvP. If you respec into a template you will be even worse off because you won't know how to use the skills to your advantage. So far as I complete my Jedi template I haven't had any trouble with BH using my Master TK skills and some Swordsman. Just make sure you go up Healing 4xxx first. Improved Infusion is your best friend. Then once you hit 4xxx you can heal for 1,500 which is alot (but not as much as other professions). But you really shouldn't have any trouble with Vis once pub 20 hits unless you just run around and show off.
