Can weaponsmiths make lightsabers ? If so, who's selling ?


What skills do I need to wield one ? Master Swordsman ?

I've read on the Cobantis forum that someone actually bought one, in hopes of activatinga FS slot. Didn't work though.

Only Jedi can make them. Check the bazaar, there are probably tons of them on it.


You need to be a Jedi to use it...but they are all broken anyway.

Lightsabers are pretty commen, as are Dark Jedi madalions with the jedi holocrons being a bit rarer. But they arnt weapons. The only way to get a real lightsaber is for a Jedi to make one for you.

I believe these broken Lightsabers that are occasionally found and being sold are part of a NPC delivery mission. The player just aborts the mission and keeps the stuff. The Jedi Holicron the same. Either way, the Lightsaber is just a generic iten you can display or show around.


I myself, bought one for 3k in a bazzar instant sale, and the seller had about 10 of them. But I just got it to just have one, and hopefully feel all jedi-y while i'm running around in the open fields yelling, "Vrrrromm KLASH ZAT vrrrrrrrroom" . Would have done the same if it were a Yoda coffee mug...

Can one Upgrade his current lightsaber, so he wont need to buy another krayt pearl/ crystal to craft a good lightsaber over again.

Yea each time you make a saber you use the old one, some materials and another pearl or crystal.

saber crafting works like this, training saber 1st, takes 2 crafted force crytal things, cant remember the exact name off hand.


once you qualift for 2nd generation saber, you take the training saber and add it into the schematic slot along with gas/metal/ and either a force crystal (looted item) or a krayt pearl.


3rd gen saber requires a 2nd gen saber and the above items


4th gen as above


5th gen as above


basically you use the same saber the entire time and just upgrade it with different crystals.


i have a 5th gen saber with 1 krayt pearl and the rest force crystals, and a 4th gen saber that used all krayt pearls. the speed on the 5th is 5.4 (or close to that, im tired been leveling all nite) and the speed on the 4th gen krayt is 1.0, the damage range is nearly the same for both. Im looking to get another krayt pearl tomorrow to upgrade the krayt saber to a 5th gen.


saber colors i've seen so far listed on the crystals and pearls is blue, dark yellow, red, brown??, purple finding a rough time finding force crystals and pearls atm, so once i get more i'll post more colors.


generally pearls are alot more powerful than the crystals. worst crystal i've seen is -48 min/max best crystal +109 min/max dmg. they also affect wound chance speed and force power costs.

I want create a new iniziate but i have no pearls and crystalatm .


There's a way to save my old iniziate lightsaber from Permadeathor itslost?
