What is this about?
Are they making significant changes to Force Sensitivity along with the Combat Upgrade?
I was under the impression that the Combat Upgrade was just going to change combat...

I wouldn't count on having 7 days. It wouldn't surprise me if they pushed it early for real 'stress testing'. Not to mention the hardcore whiners would probably cancel their accounts before the expansion launched which would mean less people complaining that all the noobs will have to see in game. I wont presume to know SOE's reasons for anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if they released the CU a little early....

How many people whined about JTL, complained about how they were going to quit and then followed through with it?
I will openly admit that I wasn't extremely happy with a few of the things that I had seen and sometimes still see in JTL, but I never 'threatened' to quit and the end product was actually superior to what I had seen in the Beta.
Since then, there have been other minor updates that have done nothing but increase the playability of JTL.
I see the same thing happening with the Combat Upgrade. All that the CU will do is bring change. Since people don't like change, people whine about it. They don't want to see it.
Personally, I find it annoying to be constantly reading about everyone stating the obvious. "We don't like change" So, what, nobody likes change, until it happens.

Just that combat is the only decent way toget FS xp. On TC under the developing CU, it is harder to fight mobs (under the current balance) and almost impossible to take on lairs solo. There is a narrow window of NPC levels in which you can get decent xp without instadeath. So you either range far and wide to find them (and then only ones where the group doesn't aggro), or are forced into a group to take missions. The rate of xp gains in almost every scenario is greatly slowed. Hard to say for sure until the final PvE balance is reached, but I'm thinking that the Post-CU grind for FS combat will be brought into "balance" with FS senses and FS craft grinding. Hella long.

In agreement to betoc, the CU will make it so that u can not take on super hard enemies be your self, which will take a lllloonnngg time FS grinding. Im kinda sad as i just got FS on Sunday, and wont get my visit till tomm. this will suck as my friend and i will have a long FS grind...
