I am curious, I started long ago, and yet have I been able to get even one box box completed. Unless you just grind bikes for hours on end, it is going to take for ever.
Just wondering if it is worth it or not?

I had high hopes for getting 3 of the 4 trees mastered, but I got sick of it after one box. The xp requirements are kind of insane in my opinion. Plus all those lost resources is one hell of a money sink. People joke with me and tell me that i'm a nuts to go up any of the crafting trees just because it takes a lot longer to grind then the combat ones.
My goal is for that second character though and not jedi, so at least I can dodge that grind.

i did 4 boxes of fs crafting by heavy warhead mechs in 0020 WS, 735 exp per craft, max out at 72k exp convert to almost 15k FS, just as fast as doing senses IF you have the resources. still alot of clicking though

Nope... Working on it tough...
Trying to get the resources to start makeing advanced frame units (DE) (450xp) but low number of resources.
I'm only worried bout the RSI i'll get (again)...
Probably need to find some way around to fix it... .... ...

I'm 4400 FS crafting and won't do the other two chains (though repair is unlocked). I didn't want to put the 20 more hours into it.
I did 2 boxes with normal crafting (armorsmith) and 4 with DE crafting.
It's possible in only 40 hours of game play if you have a nice bank account to rely on. I've posted how elsewhere in this forum.

Architect is 35% of the Unlock others r 5% with General 8% so im pissed i didnt get when i should have.
Gots got all the others but didnt get Crafting mastery which is Really wrong i need 1 or 2 skills with that 1 but will have to
that post CU.
Oh sorry and Novice Artisan which counts.

I am currently 4402 FS Crafting, almost halfway to Technique 3 and am going Master ASAP.
Done it with Tailor/Weaponsmith and a LOT of clicking... Not as fast as some, but less wasteful of resources than many faster methods...

Currently at 4430 using DE 0003. I still think this clicking and xp requirement are excessive.

Yes, it's actually not that hard to grind out some crafting trees IF (big IF) you can spare the requirements to go DE 0004 and grind ABLL's. Once you have the components and resourceslined up, it's easy to grind over 100k FSXP/hour. On the other hand, I paid about 25mill to my friendly neighborhood DE (who had the factories and componentresources) to make 3 branches worth of components, never mind the ~8mill units of resources I burned through. All the weaponsmiths that got rich off grenades (like myself) can now funnel that cash to the DE's, who usually desperately need it! That said, no, I did not do the mastery, just 3 branches. I actually found that grinding a tree with ABLL's wasquicker than doing a combat tree with C12's!
Oh, and yes,I found the greatest worth to be in that first box of FS experimentation.SinceI got that first box (the hard way, with heavy warheads), I never had a single moderate (or worse)success while experimenting.
Details on the ABLL grind are elsewhere in this forum....

That's the point isn't it?
a) either spend MILLIONS and craft a reasonable short time
b) or spend YEARs working
in comparison to
a) kick off grenades and get it all in mediocre timing
b) and with luck get loot and credits too!!!! (which you can use to pay for grenades)
How is that not balanced?
