guys anyone doing BH and FS?

Is the grind much easier with 1:1 converison with Bounty hunters or is the path to JEDI held within throwing bucket loads of grenades at liars for months on end?

Im currently going to go BH. got pistoller 1/0/3/0 just now, and working on next level of skills, wrist stability, im i looking at padawan trials come october 2044 ??

To win in PVP one must cheat, exploitz, hackz, and above all, have other pals that do the same. Once the foe is defeated, then go "OMGZZZ UZZZ SUCZ, LERN TO PLAY"

I was and dropped to grind! Was an MBH with Master Pistoleer....and I have kept the pistols while I master brawler & TKM. I will then drop pistols for swords. I enjoyed BH but now I want to be Jedi and grinding with pistols is much harder than melee. The BH XP is hardly worth considering in the grind (and I don't recall it being 1:1) but anyway its not really a factor.

And on a side note I have the prerequisites for commando (master marksmen and tk student) but I am avoiding this altogether. I don't think its an exploit or unfair to those who do it. It is extremely costly (creds/armor etc) and doesn't fit with my enjoyment of the game. I'll take a little longer but I don't care!

What I do know is that my new template will be far qucker than MBH/M Pistoleer. You want an easier grind then do what I did and switch. I did persist for a month taking the approach that I'll gather FS xp as I play a BH. But this is so slow that I'd be looking at 2-3yrs ( i did the math).

Being MBH/M Pistoleer is a template that is not condusive to grinding - You could do it with this template but its slow, not just to grenades but to an aggressive melee template too. Life as a MBH is just that - if you spend your time grinding there is little point being a BH. Hunts for me would take anything from 30 mins to 2hours and it was GREAT fun.

Bottom line is if you want to become the hunted then drop BH! Its what I did

I dropped Bounty Hunter shortly after I became glowy, the reason for this wastwo fold, I was bored with Bounty Hunter and wanted to try something new and I figured it would take a long time to get all the experience needed to complete the village.

I never did any of the melee professions so I deceided to go with Master Brawler/Master Swords along with some Fencer and TKA.

I became glowly the last time the village was in phase phase 2. I can get 900k two handed weapons experience and about 200k combat experience in a buff session. Of the four trees I've unlocked I have 3 more boxes before I fill them up, which I hope to have done before phase 2 hits. I didn't have any free unlocks from the hologrind but I hope to have my 5th tree completed and enough experience to fill the 6th and final tree when the 3rd phase comes again.

I haven't used a single gernade and I havehadalot of fun with my current template.I personally feel it's more important to have fun in the game and enjoy what you are doing by going on hunts with friends, helping others get glowy etc...rather than becoming a hermit and 'power grinding' with 'nades. If you are a power grinder, get the commando stuff and go numb throwing 'nades at lairs before they nerf it, other wise, choose a template you think you'll have fun with and enjoy

A friend of mine is a BH 2244 and, from what he has told me, that 1:1 conversion for investigation xp isn't really a favor. Apparently, that is the most miserable type of xp to get. The only thing he converts is pistol, combat, and heavy weapon xp. But, with very little melee defense, none of those come quickly for him if he solos.

I am currently, Im a Master Bounty Hunter and Master Pistoleer.. I found that by getting buffed, wearing my melee enhanced composite armor and taking several missions on giant baz niches that I can do several of theses missions during a buff sesson with out getting much more than a few scratches..

oh plus I switch weapons between a high end Geo pistol with low ham usage, and a DE-10..

as to Bounty Hunter Exp. I dont do those to grind experiance, I do those for fun.

I am a partial Bounty Hunter and doing my grinding now, actually. Bounty Hunter XP, in my opinion, does not generate at sufficient levels to make it worth it to grind the stuff. Not when you factor in the travel time and so on. Of course, that's just my own personal experience.
