Having to keep grinding Intelligent Nanonutrients as a BE is driving me batty! (231xp per at 5:1 conversion ratio.... ackkkkkkk!)

There has to be a better way! *cries*

go up the grenade tree on wsuntil u cangrind heavy warheads at approximately 730xp each

Yeah heavy warheads in the WS tree give 735 xp or 147 fsxp per build

Shadowpaw from Novice Smuggler ... yes, you need more combines .. but in fact its much easier and faster than warheads ...

you only need 2 generic resources and they come cheap compared to the 7 from heavy warheads (3 of the named). XP per resource is 4 instead of 1.89. with practise mode you get an almost 1:1 rate between resource and FS XP. Having only 2 resources and being low in its profession tree means it combines quickly , you can klick very fast through it and it lends itself well to a short crafting chain so you wont have too many open windows. Its possible to have enough resources with you to grind a whole tree and never step away more than 10 m from the trainer in the village.

Best would be to do your normal crafting, but I am shipwright ... no chance to convert XP !

if you have cash, do the DE grind.

adv BLL chassis, quite a lot of resource (hence you need cash), at 4.5k xp per bild, 5:1 trade ratio. you could be done in less than a week (including factory set up times)

Get so smuggler 0400 (slice tree) and craft molecular clamps !

90 copper units per clamps

Only one ingredient....

Yep, copper or any other non ferrous metal like Aluminum. In practise mode thats 24.8 FS crafting XP per combine ...

but Shadowpaw gives 25.2 and needs only one third of the resources (and you need only Novice Smuggler instead of Smuggler 0400).

You could craft Clamps AND slice with them .... so you get Crafting and Sense FS XP at the same time if you bring crates of survival knifes with you :-)

I would love to pick up another tree simply for crafting FS, unfortunately those darn skill credits are keeping me down!

Be careful Trinity. Your BE crafting converts to crafting, but as a Master BE you won't be able to unlock any crafting tree unless you have artisan skills.

DNA sampling converts to senses, but you can't unlock that either without master medic.

I would have liked crafting and senses, but apparently, while BE's only earn the XP for those two fields, we can't unlock unless we have another profession that is compatible with the unlock.

I ended up having to go out into the wild with my DX-2 pistol. I wonder how many malklocs it takes to make Jedi Padawan. I can't sactrifice the skill points for a combat mastery, an artisan mastery, or a medic mastery.
