Thread: Has anyone used Proton grenades. I about to buy some that has 1000 min 3000max damage

Has anyone tied proton grenades. I've never seen grenades with this much damage before. They are Heat damage and have a min of 1000 and a max of 3000. You have to be master commando to use them. could the damge be too high and i'll be myself up?

i never used protons .. used some imp detonators with dmg 1000-2800 with pup's and never did i have a problem with them

Protons are all I use. With 2-3 throws against 5 attacking giant baznitches, the nades usually kill all of them. Of course I'm a master commando, so at least I got something out of the skill box 
With a pup, dmg gets up to 4.4k max. I strongly suggest getting medic 0-0-3-0 because, yes you do beat yourself up pretty bad. Also try to get a few effective sliced kinetic composite.
