I think you answered your own question. If you've already gotten ranged speed from tha capt. then you can never ever get it from him again. There are still other unlocks available during phase 4 (crafting, reflexes etc.) but this is the only one the Capt. offers during phase 4.

If you got it from him during the last phase 4 and didn't finish, then go ahead and finish....you should get credit.

Actually, right now you can NOT get the Reflexes (Melee Defense). Since the Phase 4 Quest from the Capt. gives you a choice tounlock either (Combat) Ranged Speed or (Reflexes) Melee Defense.

Since this 1 Quest has a choice to unlock 1 of 2 Branches. When you go through the Quest once and unlock 1 of them, the next time Phase 4 comes around he is not giving the Quest for the other unlock. Since you already did that Quest once (last Phase 4).

Until or If they change this.... You can ONLY do the Quest once. So, choose which unlock you really want (Ranged Speed or Melee Defense) the 1st time doing the Quest. Because if they do NOT change this, you will only be able to do it once.

This was not the case with me. I chose reflexes(melee defense) on the last phase 4 and this time I chose ranged speed. Both times I have been able to complete the mission and get credit four it.

You are one of the few then...

I did Melee Defense last Phase 4 too. Will not give me the Quest this Phase 4 to unlock Ranged Speed.

Not really affecting me at all since this will be my 8th unlock. Just wanted to try and unlock all of Reflexes and Combat....

In theory you can repaet the missions.

However this phase 4 the capt mission is borked. No one can repeat or get the second mission

Capt. Sargulo is bugged at the moment. Apparently, some players are able to receive quests from him as normal; others are not.
