Greetings friends,
I have finally finished my last quest on pahse 4 (so glad I didn't get bugged). So I am nearing my ultimate goal very soon, but I now wonder what I would become. Would I follow the path of Light or Dark ? Would I follow every other Jedi's templete for power or create my own original temp? So now I come here and ask you all the same question... What will you be?

Ive decided, no matter the cost, i dont wana have a cookie cutter template. I was hoping for M. Powers, 4xx4 healer, 4xxx Enhancer, 4xx4 LS(I dont think thats full sp, havent really looked into it too much). Weak, but fun, and thats what we're all in it for?...I think.

I'm in no hurry to get there, and i'm sudying hard at my basic force sensative abilities... but the bottom line, My plan is a hybrid jedi. I know that the grind will be very long for me, but my core will remain pistoleer with perhaps jedi defenses. I'm considering the healing aspects as well... maybe even master healer... I'm a pistol/doc right now and would hate to give up doc... so who knows... i might be a master jedi healer master doc LOL *shrug*

Here is a skill point calculator. (Click show Jedi, don't forget the 24sp for FS).
I'll probably do the standard, not sure since I can't find an accurate description of skills, so I will decide when I get to it. Probably MLS, after grind do one handed (Looks best IMO) with master healing since I'm doc now and healing myself and others sounds good with force run, not sure what xxx4 enhance does, so I will read into it.
(Edited, forgot to clicky the link)

Light Jedi all the way. Not worth getting rid of -5k imp faction and the fact that I earned colonel. That and I think the black robes look kinda lame.
Templates Considering:
*MLS, ME, H 4004 - Get FR3, regain con, Force Armor 2, Resists
*MLS, MH, E 4004 - Extinguish fire, heal wounds, heal others, and total heal to do almost all at once, only draw back no defences and high FC
*MLS, E 4404, H 4404 - Happy Medium between the two above temps, loss of heal other and resists is no biggie, but the loss of Force from the lack of double mastery bothers me.
or sometype of variant with one of the powers branches possibly but I doubt it - basically to make the template more interesting and possibly more useful in pve/pvp.

I intend to use my jedi almost entirely for PvE, which has come as a shock even to me. I think the cool thing about jedi is people not knowing you're one (although most ppl are now). I'll be MLS/MHealer/Enhancer 4xx4 or MLS/MHealer/Something else. I want to use it for pve with my guild, and healing all will help. Also, the bh threat will be my PvP, hopefully ranged BH's will stand a proper chance in the future.
P.s. I won't become a knight, being perma-overt takes away all the mystery for me. You can be full-template, not have a sabre equipped and not be on the terms, to me that's cool.

MCH for life so I will be building my Jedi around this prof. Master Sabers and MCH is where I will be at. PVP will be largely non-existent but I won't be saying bye to my pets as long as I play this game.

I have no interest in PvP at all, and not alot of interest in reaching Knight, either. I like the idea of a hybrid character - similar to Luke in ESB rather than an Old Republic Jedi. WIth that in mind, I know for sure I will pick up:
1)Master Sabers
2)4003 Healing
After that it gets to be a mystery. Right now,I am thinking along the lines of 4000 Defender, 4004 TKA, but I wouldn't mind going pistoleer rather than TKA (it's just tough surrendering all that good stuff from TKA
).

I was going fill my template simply because I don't think that:
1) there is ever going to be any other Star Wars based MMORPG, and
2) if there was, I guarentee this game has messed up any chance of
being a Jedi in such another game.
And since I'm an Imperial Colonel and half-way through the Imperial
Pilot tree, I'm going Darkside. This way, when I'm done, I'm a Colonel
in the Army, a Captain (of a VT49 Decimator) in the Navy, a loyal
Imperial Agent, and a--well, would a Imp Jedi be an Emperor's Hand or
an Inquisitor in the SWRPG?
Ah well, you get the idea... uber Imp cred.
I seriously wanted to be a BH/Jedi, but I figured my alt can go BH.
Dunno if he'd hunt Jedi or not (maybe the losers who use cheap tactics
in PvP--lol), but the idea of tracking NPC's down and such always
appealed to me.
As for a template, I've come to realize through numerous asking (sorry
and thank you to the Jedi on Chilastra, LS and DS, who put up with my
constant Q's!) that all templates are rock/paper/scissors to eachother
in battle. Adding to this, there are some folks, like some peeps who've
posted here, who don't want 100% Jedi. My alt account, for example, may
end up getting Padawan just for the alt slot, and she would stay an
Armorsmith. It all depends on what you want.
That's not to say that clearly WRONG ones don't exist depending on a
certain goal (like getting the lowest boxes in all skills when PvP is
your goal). But, since a person's playstyle correlates strongly with
how "effective" a Jedi can be, I'm not sweating it much.
As for my template:
TEMPLATE:
=========
24 FS POINTS:
1. Ranged ACC
2. Ranged Speed
3. Randed Def
4. Melee ACC
5. Melee Speed
6. Melee Def
This is set no matter what. As for the Force powers:
FORCE POWERS:
=============
1. Master Sabers
2. Powers: 4002
3. Enhance: 3004
4. Healing: 4004
Why POWERS you ask? Well, without Force push/knockdown, and, of course,
Force Lightening aka "BZZZZZT!", Jedi just isn't WORTH it to me. And
with enhancer 0003, I get FORCE DRAIN (by two at Mos Eisley--gah,
sorry, Decipher SWCCG flashback--lol).
Sure, some peeps can block these, but not everyone gets those powers.
Besides, what do I care if I croak when all my skillboxes are full?
You lose xp, not skills anymore (so all the Knights tell me).
I might go Knight. It'd be silly to use 249 skill points in a template
and not just "finish" IMHO (especially since my goal is uber Imp cred).
I can handle being Perma overt, especially if my alt is a BH I can play
with when things get stupid. And I have no delusions of being anything
save a Rank 0 DJK in the FRS (lol).
I guess the answer to this post's Q is: I'm going to be an Imp having
fun being an Imp.

Heh, this idea you have is very interesting. I think you would be the only one who is a jedi and still keep his MCH. Props for you all the way.

After the expected many years to come, I will eventually reach my goal of Light Knight with MLS/Enh4003/Heal4204/Powers0004.
