First of, will you do your padawan trials using a lighsaber, or your normal profession?

Do you have to start dropping your professions as soon as you get Initiate, or can you wait till padawan?

What happens after you complete your padawan trials? IE: Old man visits you again?

Thanks for your answers, guys. :]

You will use your normal prof. You get a training saber halfway through the trials. (the 8th or 9th trial)

No, you have your normal prof until you start training jedi skills when you finish the trials.

When you complete your trials you goto the nearest shrine (star wars music plays) you get your pad robes & start the long grind to jedi. Congrats! You are now a Jedi Padawan.

You don't have to start dropping your "normal" professions until you need to free up SP for Jedi skills, and then you would typically drop them a box at a time just as you would when dropping one and learning any other profession. You can keep your elite combat profession masteryfor a good long time.
