I'm not exactly positive, but at my particular rate (107k FS XP for 24 stacks), 67 crates of 800+ Max Damage C12s with 32% Max Damage Powerups should get the full amount needed for 6 branches and 2 novice boxes. Maybe get 70 crates to be sure, sometimes they get wasted when the mobs disappear on you in the middle of throwing the grenades and sometimes rude people show up and start spin attacking your mobs while you're throwing grenades.

Quite welcome. Now, to get that 107k FS XP per 24 stacks, I used FD to break the aggro limit so 10 GBNs would attack instead of just the first 5. I would throw 4 stacks at these 10, then kill them with Health-directed attacks to minimize weapons XP and maximize Combat XP. The I would kill the last 5 and the lair with a weapon (not worth grenades to hit just 5).

6 full lairs (lvl 99+ in solo group) of GBNs capped my combat XP, or came real close. Kill random mobs on the way to the Village to finish the cap if it didn't and you'll get a bit more than 107k. This took me about 2 hours including the Village run, and sometimes I could manage two caps with one buff if it was one of the long lasting ones.

Also, if you only throw 3 grenades at the last lair, and kill random mobs with a weapon on the way to the Village, you can get about 110k FS XP for 23 grenades. Just takes a little extra time.
