Having the same problem along with 5 other people i met so far. On the 2nd mission, after killing all the sith in around the prisoner. Dang this game gets to me sometimes.

there is a simple solution for this:
simply ask someone at the village to duel and incap you. when you are incapped, the quest resets and you can talk to whip again. after you get incapped, have the person heal you and end the duel and talk to whip

yeh just gonna say, you have to fail it. i logged then went back on. or you can have someone incap you.
After you fail he'll give you another one to do, problem solved

Also had the same problem, also solved the same way.

Managed to rescue 1 prisoner before a bug hit me...
When i go to my waypoint the prisoner tells me i can't help her... and whip tells me to go rescue her...
anyone else came across this? i've tried alot and have submitted a bug but is there anyone else with this issue?

I only had that happen if I talked to her before I killed the sith. After killing them it was fine.
