right now, im just a Master Pikeman, haven't decided what im going to do with the rest of my points yet (might do 4000 TKAmaster marksman4000 Commando or TKM master brawler with some fencer for defenses). I want to get Melee def(unlocked), Melee speed(unlocked), Ranged def, and Melee accuaracy, as 4 of my 6 branches.

In Phase 1, you can do CR ranged accuracy, ER survival, HS persuasion, or CM assembly

My question is this, should I just do one of these quests, to unlock something, then grind it up, so it counts towards another one of my branches? or should I just skip this phase and wait for the next phase to get something else ?

I could do HS persuasion in phase 1, then do ER vehicular control in phase 2 (since I already have melee speed)

then in phase 3 do melee accuracy... then i would have to wait for phase 3 to come back around again, to do ranged defense?

Im not sure what to do, could anyone give me some ideas

Ok, so I've been reading thru the posts, and I have 3 professions choices it seems.

the good ol' weapon/combat xp route(Keep my current professions)

use c12 grenades (lets me also keep my current template)

or get 4000 Commando, and use the good grenades, and get it done about 8x faster than weapon/combat xp and 4x or so faster than c12 grenades.

Personally, im going to either do the c12 grenades, or the 4000 commando, as im not one that likes sitting for hours on end doing weapons/combat xp.

all I could find on the forums so far, is a 3 way arguement.

A. people that say screw grenades, lets do it the old fashioned way

B. use c12 grenades, keep your templates that you want

C. go 4000 commando, its the fastest, and gives you more time to yourself.

obviously, thermal + pups are going to be expensive, can anyone give me average prices, obviously ever server is different, but atleast it would give me an idea? Im not rolling in hundreds of millions of credits, but I do have some money.

The price for a crate of dets is roughly about 150k? I think.

If your planning on going Jedi the trees that will for the most part help you during grinding are

Melee Defense

Ranged Defense

Melee accuracy

Melee speed

Other 2 can be whatever you decide.

The thing is that to get these trees requires 2 cycles of the villagesince 2 of those Unlocks are within the same phase.

I did my unlocks from phase 1 and I got....

Ranged Accuracy (Useless to Jedi)

Melee speed

Melee defense

Ranged Speed

Vehical control

Survival

Can use Weapons and combat xp for these as they are Enhanced Reflexes and Combat Prowess.

I did 1 Branch as a swordsman/Doc then did 2 more as Swordsman/Rifleman Finished off as a Swordsman/Pikeman.

If your not interested in killing yourself on the grind and don't mind pacing yourself.

If you cap1 combat profession 1 time a day it will take u 20 days to fill a branch. Since phases last 3 weeks anyway it can allow you to do other things other then Grind like a madman. Grenades will do it much quicker but since there is no way to speed up the phases it's something to think about.
