Ok, from the way I read that, you make it sound as if you haven't become Force Sensitive yet.
I advise you to go ahead and read the stickies as there's a whole host of information held there that will answer all your questions on how to become Force Sensitive and then become a Jedi from there.

While it was supposed to be a set of quest based missions to do all of this, it unfortunately doesn't work out that way. You'll see once you hit the village It turns into another grind, but you don't have to grind out lots of different professions anymore.
