I am a TKM, mainly, picked up this game because i was attracted to 2 things, TK & Jedi, I have done TK, so now it's time for jedi . . .
I need only the Nym & Warren badges & i will be "Glowie", as you can see from my sig, i haven't the best template, it isn't even complete, i just wanted TK lol, I am asking for advice for the grind.
I won't be using nades at all, I was wondering, can i do the grind on TKM alone? or will i need something else, if so, what would you advise?
I don't mind grinding, I actually love it, each kill is a step forward to the ultimate goal, so time doesn't mean a thing to me, I have been playing this game for around a month, so i still have much to learn, Any advice that anyone of you can give, Would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Yes you can do the grind with that template, in fact that's how it did my grind, until later in the grind when i decided to add Swordsman to the the mix, which allow me the chance to spend little be more time between trips to the village...thus decrease in the trips to the village in half...it didn't save any time though....
but when you reach padawan you may want to pick the melee/ranged defenses of fencer instead. as you'll need it, life without armor sucks.

hehe, well, I figure everything that has a goal, has a grind, If you want the prize, than you better be prepared for the work, If i look at grinding as boring or pointless, I would fail before i start, So i tend to think each single XP point that i earn, even if it took me a week to get it, atleast i'd be 1 xp point closer than i was before i started, & that is a reward in itself, hehe
IMHO Work = Payment, so bring on the grind
/Flex =D
Thnx again for the advice, & imput, I appreciate it =)

I highly recommend picking up a 2nd melee profession. While the time it takes to master the profession basically cancels out the time you save in village visits, I believe it makes the grind more bearable solely because it's 'fun' to level a profession. Once you obtain master and start dishing out the real damage, you are numb to the grind for a few days because you just learned the uber spin attack and now hit for 2500+ damage.
I'm on my 5th box and have mastered TKA, swords and pike. I just mastered pike a few days ago and am still in the numb phase where I will go up against a 75% kinetic resistant baddie with my LVA just so I can see the polearm 3 animation.

Thnx for all the advice people /Applaud
Think i am going to add Master swordsman, TKM/MS should keep me going for awhile, I'll try some other profs along the way.
Thnx again for the advice, & i'm sure i'll speak with some of you again, over the next 7 months or so.
Take care all
Beat the grind, don't let it beat you =)

Master Swords and TKM is a good way to grind, it's just longer. If you add Fencer in there you'll have a triple master, so you'll be a PvP tank and also cap a lot more on exp before the village. Anyways, good luck to you. It's nice to see someone actually enthusiastic about it for once.

I think you should take Pike, just to be different ... I never managed to get around to it myself. On the other hand, if you're going to take time out of the grind, look at what you'll be hunting. Also remember that medic is handy and Scout 1000 speeds you up on hills (3000 more so, of course). It's all a tradeoff...

Get those badges and unlock those quests as soon as you can. Even if you don't feel "prepared" to do the grind. For many people, the gating factor isn't getting the exp, it's waiting around for those phases to open up the branches so they can dump stored exp in them and fill them out.
