Hi fellow Phase chasers !

I started the village last week, I P/U one of the 2 missions from the Capt. I picked off my 50/25 as required and saw the screem messgage advising I'd opened up something. I went to Paemos and he said I qualified for Combat Prowess so I trained on it, I also had previously poured all my xp into the combat choice on Paemos which caused a screen message that I qualified for something but don't recall what....So, I have this Combat Prowess now in my Professions box with Novice solid green and the bottom 4 bars about 90% up after all my xp was converted, I gring a few days max out my unarmed/2 handed/combat go back to Paemos and pour all that xp into combat, now the entire bottom 4 of Combat Prowess is solid (what I thought trainable) green, I go to the trainer by the wall and he says I don't qualify to be trained on anything ! I go back to the CApt. and he says I'm already doing missions for others in the village which I'm not (this was after the recent fix to him by the eway). I now go back to Paeomos and ask him what he senses I qualify for and he tells me now Enhanced Reflexes which confuses me further as I've only ever completed the one mission from the Capt., So I look in CNTRL-S and see I don't have enough FSXP to train on that, I grind 2 days again, back to the village and dump all the xp into that area of Paemos , sure emough he says I now qualify for it, go to the trainer and now I have both Enhance Reflexes and Combat Prowess showing in the my professions box ! I've asked many players and was under the impression that only one of these professions would appear and that on that profession a mission from each phase would open one of the 4 columns in that profession and once all 4 were open then i would get the exit quest......So after this long explination, why do I have 2 prodessions W/I the same Phase 4 ? why wont combat prowess let me train any of the solid green 4 bars along the bottom ? when I view my crystal it also says Unlock enhanced reflexes: Melee Defenses but nothing about combat prowess, I'm so frustrated im about to give up on this ! can anyone please help me to understand whats going on ? I have 2 guides I've printed from the forums now and neither make any sense to me

think of it like scouting xp, well you lvl up in scout the scoutin xp can either go into hunting or exploration, but not both

so the same thing with FSxp, you can only trin in what you have unlocked, not all.

so you have to think as to which ones you want to drop all you FSxp into for example:

if you have unlocked only melee accuracy then you can only train in melee accuarcy until you can unlock something else.

Melee speed defense and accuracy .... I am maxed on defense and speed I am a TKM and notice a difference. I am a lot faster and can duel well with no armor on against Jedi knights and such of course I have food and stuff going but you get the idea.

I'd add ranged defense to that as a required one, and toss in survival and maybe vehicular control ... ANY bonus to Terrain Negotiation is a good thing!

Personally I went with Melee speed, melee defense, melee accuracy, ranged defense, luck, and ranged accuracy.

I regret taking ranged accuracy, but no big deal. Since I am a way from wrapping it up I might change it to something else since I only have the first box if it done anyway. Terrain negotiation or vehicle control would be nice.

If you are gonna be straight combat though, I would definitely go with all the melee skills since they will all help you. Aside from that take what you think will benefit you the most.

well, learned alot since my original posting, realized you can train novice on any just can't go any further until you open up that profession in the correct phase !

the combat prowess I trained on and poured all my xp into in error during phase 4 is now one of the choices in phase 1 which I did and completed last night which opened up one of my columns in combat prowess to start working up.

I think i'll be ok now ! but OMG how boring is Phase 1 through he Capt. ? I'm into the 2nd set for the banner now and the waypoints just keep getting further and further apart, why is driving around on your bike for hours at a time needed to progress to Jedi ! LOL what a big difference from the large challenge envolved in phase 4 !
