So, I was given the wp to the camp by the old man...I went there and saw it (it is on Dant).
My question is, does it STAY spawned or does it de-spawn once you leave the area.
Anyone know?

It stays spawned,think it only despawns when you logout.But will respawn when you login.Don't think it matters where you are

Yeah, it always stays there, it'll despawn if you log or get killed, but it'll respawn in the same spot next time you log in.
Easiest way to do it is find a rifleman to conceal shot all the little guys and the 4 crystals. Then if you can get a cm to throw a health poison and disease and geta commando to stack the 4 flame dots and he'll be down in no time. Oh and make sure you have a doc for rezzing. Don't spawn or leave the area or else everything will start to despawn.
Also since its on Dant probably is a good idea to set up a small generic right by the spawn for the group to get buffed right before or run into in an emergency.

Got a couple of new friends who were fencer/tkm and myself (tkm/master swords) and we took him out. Twas fun.

alright the old man came. He gave me the wp for the camp site, I got here and the only thing here is the yellow wp. Can anyone tell me what to do from here? THanks

hmmmm, the camp should of been there, shuttle again to the nearest city and go to wp again, if the problem continues, might have to send a ticket to a CSR.

sounds like it's not spawning right. Seen that happen to a few others.
My advice to them and to you: Move about 200m away from the location where Mell is supposed to spawn. Log out, wait 10 minutes, log back in. That should resolve it. Worked for the others i told to do so.

that happened while i was assisting someone in the exit quest. the CSR deleted the mission and remade it on taus and warped us all there

simular thing happened to me yestersday i got to wp and yellow mark disappeared and there was nothing there so i logged out then back in and the camp was there

This is a similiar issue like the two sith, try starting 300m from the mission and walk to it, no burstrun no vehicle.
