Thread: Jedi Gear and Hooded Cloaks?

One question: (better here since it's less hostile than the Jedi Forum) Can you wear a Hooded Cloak over your jedi wear? Thanks for the responds.

If you mean wearing a hooded cloak over jedi robes, no.

No way!? That's classic jedi look. The devs always amaze me that way. You can wear hooded cloaks over other clothing but not jedi. hmmm.

As a jedi, no you can't. Yes they should be able to but unfortunately as of now it's either robes or regular clothes

Right. Because it makes sence. And the developer users manual clearly states that '.. no code making any sence whatsover shall be added to a game. Furthermore, if new code should in anyway fix any problems in said game, new code should be deleted, burned, or otherwise destroyed. Aswell the originator of the code, his or her spose, children, pets and extended family should be killed, all estate destroyed or turned over to the company, and any knowledge of their exhistance deleted from the world, electronic or otherwise.'

The answer is:
Don't bother with the padawan robes at all. They look terrible anyway.
Instead, get your friendly neighbourhood tailor to make you some much nicer jedi clothes.
The paddy robes only give you +10 force regeneration or something, and while this is pretty good, you can get much better bonuses from some good BE clothes with skill tapes.
BE clothes could give you melee defence, bleed resist, stun resist, intimidate/warcry bonus, and skill tapes could add any amount of useful bonuses.
Granted you could end up spending a lot of money on skill tapes, but the BE clothes are very cheap for what they do.
Here is my personal favourite for the classic mysterious jedi look:
Crafters' pants - sand/light brown with melee def/stun resist.
Lined workshirt - Sand/light brown with melee def/stun resist.
Smart Boots - Dark brown
Hooded cloak - Dark brown
Hooded cloak (hood down) - Dark brown
link steel reinforced gloves - black
Put the two cloaks in a toolbar slot and you can make it look like you are pulling your hood down easily.
Here is is modelled by myself:

But i prefer to make something a bit more unusual, as this look is very common.
With a lined workshirt with BE enhancements as the base for the design, you really can create some interesting and useful jedi clothes:
Aztec
Samurai
