I just got to the village and the choices for Phase Ilook rather bad to me. The best thing seems to be Survival. However, Vehicle Control seems to me a more "Jedi like" skill, so I've been thinking that maybe I should skip Phase I altogether and take Vehicle Control inStage II.I know it's a waste of time (about 5-6 weeks). What do you say? Is it worth it for getting Vehicle Control instead of Survival?

(btw. I'm a Bounty Hunter/Fencer currently if that helps deciding somehow).

Take Survival anyway, if you don't want anything in Phase 1 ... there's no reason not to.

Like the poster above me mentioned it doesnt hurt to do the survival quest this phase, it is a quick quest to finish and might come in handy if you are trying to set up your Jedi template. The really nice thing about the Survival template is if you are planing on becoming a Jedi this is one of the only ways that you can get some skills to help you run up hill. I have read a little bit on the BH forums and in several topics I have heard it mentioned that one way to beat a Jedi is to take advantage of their lack of movement skills. Granted a +5 bonus is not much, but it is better than nothing.

well, u could just do any unlock, but from my perspective i would take the ranged defense quest and get a banner for myself or... sell it for cash! but survival would be nice for the terrain neg as well

After waiting overa month to unlock each phase....I'd have to say go the quickest route. If you look at it in the sense of what is the best skills to get....Survival is one of them. Granted its bonuses arent much, but they are actually useful. So IMO the best FS template is Combat Prowess 0-0-4-4 Master Enhanced Reflexes. For the simple fact that Ranged Skills are worthless when your a jedi, and also Combat prowess and enhanced reflexes is pretty much the easiest xp to earn. And all you haters on this FS forum, 1star bandit my helpful post all u want. Meh...Hope I could help.

I am going for the template stated above and here is why:

You get an extra +20 Melee defense, a must wether you're a padawan or a knight, melee people are just plain more difficult to beat and you need all the defense you can get.

Once again, +20 Ranged Defense which will help because you have no ranged defense until you get up to saber block. Always nice to have defnese anyways.

Survivalit a must! You can place basic camps with it, and you get more terrain negotiation so you'll run faster up hills.

Vehicle Control. While it may be considered a "luxury" skill, it will benefit you greatly if you're trying to escape on your bike from a BH or something else.

Melee speed and Melee accuracy DO help with your lightsaber. You will need all the help you can get as padawan because you are as weak as hell.

So in response to your question, get both. They will be worth it, and the quests aren't insanely hard (Like melee accuracy)
