This passed phase 4 was my first unlock. I chose melee defense and unlocked 2 boxes of XP before the phase change. Today I logged in for the first time since the phase change and got a strange message.
I was in Coronet and this only appeared on my screen for a few seconds not in any chat box. It said something about Mellichae and failing a quest. I'm a bit confused. I thought once the Melee Defense was unlocked, I had completed the quest. especially considering I'd filled 2 boxes of melee defense.
Did I misread the message? Was it just about mellichae destroyng the Village? Does this sound like a bug I should report or did I just miss a final step in completing the quest after I unlocked the boxes?
I'm a bit worried to be honest.

I got the same message on the day that phase changed as well even though I've unlocked Melee defense in Phase 1. So I'm confuse on that too.

if you looked around the forums before posting, you would have seen that many other people had this message as well. i'm still not too sure if its a bug or not, but just ignore the message as it is all lies, and you have actually unlocked the branch

do not fret young initiates... what it means is basically u have failed to defend the village as part of the group(its unavoidable) but techinically, if u manage to complete the quest, u have unlocked!

Yep, the message signals the recycling of the Phases. No worries, we all got it

Strangely enough, I have an altogether different problem (haven't searched the forums, so I don't know if this is standard).
I took the crafting quest forlast phase, didn't complete itand the quest HAS NOT yet failed. It's still active in my journal, I can still take Phase I quests... it's kinda freaking me out, actually. Deleting the crafting tool did nothing either...
