Only that you don't need to master a combat profession - just any old profession will do.

Don't worry about it. If someone's taking the time to 1 star every one of your posts here, then they're really not worth caring about anyway.

No one judges a post by how many stars it has usually anyway. People will read posts they want to read, and ignore those they don't. 1 star ninjas live among us in all walks of life. They're in the work place, they're in games you play, they're waiting for a lottery win, etc, etc. Just let them get on with their pointless efforts and they soon grow bored. Soon as they see they've gotten your attention by making some comment about why you got 1 starred, they'll continue to do it, as they know it gets to you.

We're not all here to hinder progress on this forum

I did it withbeing just a master artisan/Architect.

But once you start the village quests the fun begins. You can only unlock 1 branch per phase. You need 6 branches. That's 6 phases. Each phase is like 3 or 4 weeks.

And you can unlock doing nothing but crafting. Crafting tree and senses tree. Merchant exp goes toward senses. getting max merchant experience every 2 days it will take me about 9 months to get the experience for 2 branches. For the other 4 branches since I am an architect I can go the most efficient route. I can craft gungen head statues for 1/35th the force experience. I'll just need about 100,000,000 resources. At 20 lots, at about 2 million resources per week it'll only take me about a year to collect what I need. And after that it's about 100 hours just sitting in front of the screen clicking the mouse. Not to mention the endless trips running back and forth to the village because the experience cap is ridiculously low. Yeah this was was a MUCH better idea than the holo grind

I understand grinding DE componants takes longer but uses fewer resources so I might do that. I just didn't want to drop Architect or artisan to pick up DE.

But with any luck maybe we'll unlock by the time SWG 2 comes out.

usually yeah, but if a post gets too many 1 stars it gets filtered out of most people'ssearch unless you changed the default in your forum settings.

aah yes, forgot about that I changed my settings a long while ago to stop it filtering out. Glad you brought that one up.

I want to voice my concern to you that if mastering a combat profession is a difficult task to you, then Jedi might not be the path to enjoyable game time for you

It's not that it is hard... it really isnt.

But I am kinda old school I guess. I just dont see the enjoyment in macro grinding. If I dont get out there and do it myself, then I feel like I have cheated.

It will all be good. I just have to suck it up and go back to outskirts of town and grind small to big again.
