Thanks mate, I actually tried to talk to a csr outside of game play and he told me I needed to speak to an in game csr. So we will need to see what happens. Thanks for the advice! I will post what happens.

Np at all. I had a similar problem with one of my fs quests back in the timeso I know how frustrating it is. But don't worry, in game csrs are usually very helpful in such situations.

Also, if the CSR's don't reply then I am pretty sure that if you let Mel kill you, and then go take a shuttle, you will get a fresh camp to start over at. Best of luck to you.

If it is just one crystal, the quest can still be done. It is alot of work, but if you can get mell away from the camp, get some people with root, keep him away from camp, and pummel him. It can be done.

We tried that and couldnt get him far away enough that he wouldnt regen. We did kill Daktar that way though, just couldn't get Mel to die.

I watched a team do it on Talus. They had a similar issue to yours, one of the green and one of the red crystals were inside structures. They took mell out about 300m from the camp, and then the whole team just kept him rooted and started pummelling him. It was hair raising but they finally took him down.

I helped a Guildie do this quest a while ago.

One of his crystals were trapped in a building.

We found that we could use our Probe Droids to attack the crystal, even though we couldn't. They finally destroyed it.

remember to file a /stuck ticket, help will come faster

i did that when one crystal wouldnt be destroyed, 10 min later a CSR destroyed it for us

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond . . . .

The answer is definitely to use your droids or pets to attack as they can transgress (my big word for the day) the structure walls! Saves a lot of time!

However, if you are on the trials and one of your NPC's appears in a building, have a CSR move him. Happened to me a couple of times. Might take a little while to get the CSR to respond, but they will.

Last bit of advice . . . print out a copy of the Jedi guide so that you have copies of the Shrine locations. Mine kept disappearing from my datapad. Would have saved a lot of time!
