Thread: FS Branch Unlock Question for a N00B

When they say unlock a FS branch via a quest, are they talking about the novice or each individual tree. Cause I just started doing the first quest and converted my XPS to FS XPS and have Novice Combat, Heightened senses and Enhanced Reflexes completed. In Combat I am 0010 and Reflexes I am 1000.
So what are they talking about unlocking? I started playing just before the CU, but was not FS. I did master 4 professions though. Does that make a difference. Just confused on the unlocking part.

you can unlock the novice boxes at any time. Inorder to fill in one of the 4 trees, you need to unlock it by doing the quest required to unlock it.

Thanks and that makes sences, but since I have only done one Quest (the one were you group and heal for 50 encounters) and when I converted my combat XPS over, I am Combat0010 and Reflexes1000. So I was able to purchase these boxes. I am not complaining just wondering.
